Order for Weekly Markets

Whereas, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of the CO (HQ) on 19th March, 2026 with the Proprietors of the Saturday and Wednesday weekly markets of Kra Daadi District to comply with the order of the Home Department vide Order No.Home-1204/28/2022 dated 6th March. 2026.

And whereas, during the said meeting it was decided that the weekly market shall be operated only on a single day in a week, i.e., Saturday, whether on  a rotational basis or both markets on the same day.

Now, therefore, in view of the above, the District Administration is hereby designates Saturday as the only day for conducting the weekly market at both places ie. Kudung and Gillo Tabing respectively. No weekly market shall be conducted on any other day.

This order shall come into force with immediate effect
